Gorgeous 1950s wedding dress in ivory silk taffeta with scalloped Viennese lace on the wide off shoulder collar, waist and sleeves. The bodice is fitted and has princess seams to the waist. There are 12 gores in the skirt and 11 pleats. Metal zipper up the back with three hooks and eyes. The bodice and sleeves are lined with silk faille fabric. The skirt is lined with Pellon interfacing for volume and stiffening. Made by designer Cahill of Beverly Hills. Very good condition but there is a light brown stain on the skirt near the inside of one of the pleats (shown), and one near the hem. Shown with a petticoat (not included). A very elegant dress!
