1940s brown wool skirt suit with fitted jacket Size S/M

1940s wool suit by Towncliffe

Very flattering cut. Love all the covered buttons and hourglass jacket. Shoulders are padded. Lined with silk crepe. Skirt has a pleat in front and back with a zipper on the side. Closes with hooks and eyes. Unlined.

Condition is very good overall. I did find four very small moth holes. Two on the left shoulder and two under the collar in back. I used iron on patch fabric under the holes to conceal them. It worked really well.
